Our processing plant is strategically located in Parobé, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul.

It is close to the capital, the export routes to the Mercosur and the main ports of exit for the international markets.

We have been certified by SIF (Federal Inspection), since 2015, for our products to be exported, and we sell them to countries like Uruguay, Chile, Portugal, Argentina, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Arab Emirates, Egypt and Hong Kong etc.

LOGISTICS

Frigorífico Zimmer has its own logistics fleet

both to transport the cattle from the farm to the plant and to distribute its products to the final customer.

The animals are monitored from when they are loaded until they are unloaded at the plant.

Our own fleet consists of 45 vehicles and drivers that are trained to drive these vehicles properly from the farm to the plant, with due consideration for animal welfare, in order to ensure that their meat is the best quality for slaughtering.

We use conveyor belts for products, modern vacuum machinery,
controlled atmosphere packaging tools (ATM), automatic box closing machines, and electric pallet trucks for cargo handling

the Certified Angus Beef Seal


This Program is a partnership between the Brazilian Angus Association and the meatpacking industry,
to promote the quality of Angus Brazilian Beef produced in the country, and to satisfy the most demanding customers.
Angus Beef is certified by experts from the Brazilian Angus Association,
by checking the identity of carcasses in accredited meatpacking plants.

The identification is based on an inspection of the animals while in the corral, certifying their coats, and again on the slaughtering line, where the carcasses are individually tested by age and fat coverage. Only those animals that meet all quality prerequisites are certified.

The Angus Beef Certification Program is recognized by the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA), and it is audited externally by TÜV RHEINLAND, which provides Brazilian Angus beef with international credibility. The brands receiving the Certified Brazilian Angus Beef seal are quality assured and represent the success of the “From Pasture to Plate” concept.

All employees who have contact with the process, raw materials, packaging materials, processing products, final products, equipment or utensils are trained and educated to follow all hygiene and safety measures regarding the food being produced, in order to protect themselves from any chemical, physical or biological contamination.

SUSTAINABILITY

Frigorífico Zimmer is strongly committed to the environment.

All of the waste from its processing activities is treated in stabilization ponds with no added chemical products. This is then used as a natural fertilizer on pastures.

Our environmental management system also includes optimizing natural resources and inputs, as well as treducing water, electricity and waste.
